Summit Emerging Media Award uses world-class industry leaders to evaluate the merits of groundbreaking creative employing digital technologies. Innovator and Leader award-winning entries compete with each other for the Visionary Award. The Awards employs stringent evaluation criteria and blind judging; company names are withheld. The Summit Emerging Media Award employs blind judging: company names are withheld. Judging takes place beginning one to two weeks after the final deadline with judging taking approximately one month. All entrants are notified of award results electronically after the judging stage is complete. Winners are sent and in-person winner packet.
Submissions are judged on Method, Innovation, and Information. Method – Uniqueness, audience reach, strategy. Innovation – Visual design/creativity, graphical user interface, interaction design/functionality, user experience, audience reach. Information – Marketing message integration, audience appeal, user appeal.
