Definitions:

  • Single entries are pieces of creative execution, i.e. commercials, websites, outdoor advertising, direct mail, logos, posters, etc.
  • A Single-medium Campaign entry consists of at least two executions in one medium.
  • An Integrated/Mixed Media Campaign entry consists of at least one execution in two or more media.
  • Campaigns must have been developed with a common theme. Multi-item submissions entered as single entries are either separated and considered single entries or reclassified as a campaign. You will be contacted if additional fees apply. Multi-part creative submitted as a campaign. See the Summit Awards Entry Platform for details.

Students: Applicants must be full-time, part-time, or recent graduates. Work may be created for the competition or submitted from previous school projects or competitions. Work developed for paying clients must be entered in other categories using standard entry pricing.

Industry Assistance: Summit Awards is the only awards organization that offers need-based assistance to qualified entrants and a discounted fee structure for students.   • 2024 Timeline

  • (January - JulySummit Creative Award Season

    The official timeframe for submitting entries to the Summit Creative Award. This season encompasses multiple entry deadlines, allowing participants to choose the most suitable submission period.
  • (January 15 - March 31)Early Entry

    The initial phase of the award season with a discounted entry fee. Entrants who submit their work during this period benefit from reduced costs.
  • (April 1 - May 31)Standard Entry

    The middle phase for submitting entries. Although the early bird discount is no longer applicable, participants can still submit their work at a standard entry fee.
  • (June 1 - June 28)11th-Hour Entry

    The final opportunity for submissions, with a higher entry fee. This phase is designed for those who need extra time and are willing to pay a bit more to enter their work.
  • (June 28)Final Submission Deadline

    The ultimate cutoff for all submissions. No entries will be accepted beyond this date.
  • OngoingAdministrative Review

    A period during which submitted entries are reviewed for adherence to guidelines and requirements. Entries undergo a review process to ensure completeness and compliance.
  • (July - August)Judging Window

    The timeframe in which a panel of judges evaluates and scores the entries based on predetermined criteria.
  • (August - September)Winner Announcement

    The eagerly awaited date when the results of the judging process will be unveiled, revealing the esteemed recipients of the Summit Creative Award.
