Richard is an experienced marketing and branding professional. He set up RT Strategy in late 2009 as a consultancy providing strategic, creative marketing solutions with a 360-degree philosophy. This involves working with clients on Research and Planning, Setting Measurement Criteria, Managing the Tactical Execution of Marketing Plans, Analyzing Results and Adjusting Marketing Activity accordingly. He is also the founder of (2nd Thursday) – a local Marketing, Creative and Media Association for Canada’s Okanagan Valley.
He is highly experienced in team and project management and has been integrating digital media in to marketing since the late ’90s and social media in to marketing since 2007.
His career positions have included: Senior Account Director with a small, full-service marketing agency; eMarketing Manager (Europe, Middle East and Africa) for a global top-10 software company; New Media Producer and Head of New Media with a medium size, international integrated agency; Senior Producer for a pioneering boutique web agency.
Client experience has included blue-chips such as Sun Microsystems, HP, Nestle and McNeil Nutritionals, residential, recreational and commercial property developers (his marketing solutions have supported the sale of billions of dollars worth of real estate), small and large volume manufacturers, professional service companies, local and regional government departments.
He has produced award winning results – first from the British Interactive Media Association – and more recently from the Canadian Home Builders Association, and has taught Marketing principals to Digital Media students.
Originally from London, England, Richard now lives in Kelowna, BC, Canada – a lifestyle-rich community with world-class wineries, golf courses and ski resorts at his doorstep.
