Jamie Clarke is an independent type designer and lettering artist based near Bristol, United Kingdom.

Since establishing his practice in 2013, he has created bespoke typefaces, retail fonts, and lettering for brands, publishers, and creative agencies. His clients include Disney, Aardman, and The Folio Society.

Jamie is also the author of Google Fonts Knowledge’s introduction to typeface design and serves as Chair of Letter Exchange, the United Kingdom’s international organization for lettering and calligraphy.

His work combines traditional lettering knowledge with contemporary type design, giving him a strong perspective on typography, visual identity, craft, and communication.
