Special note regarding uploading print creative
Print items are judged on location at the Summit Creative Award Design Show. Judges evaluate in person. Most Interactive, Video and Broadcast is done remotely. This being the case, smaller one-sided print items that are uploaded work very nicely (logos, ads, flyers, etc.) as compared to two-sided, larger or 3-dimensional items. We recommend these entries be mailed. We print using high-end, 1200x2400 dpi printers on 8.5x11, 32lb wausau 98 bright stock w/o mounting. If your submission will lose its impact with the judges under these specifications, we suggest you mail your creative sample.
Giving the judges the opportunity to pick-up, touch and read can make all the difference with some creative yet not at all affect others. The judges do try to give the benefit of the doubt to uploaded entries because many entrants are from overseas and smaller firms where shipping can be a financial burden.
