Tim Hall

ImageTim began his career in advertising as a burnt-out props guy on feature films, by joining Young & Rubicam Sydney as the world’s oldest “junior” copywriter in 1989. In 1996, he moved to The Campaign Palace Melbourne for four years, the last two as Joint Creative Director. Returning to Sydney in 2000, he was Deputy Creative Director at Clemenger BBDO, and later enjoyed four months as a Visiting Creative Director at Mark BBDO Prague.

From 2004-2007, besides getting to know his children, Tim consulted on a range of projects for some of Australia’s biggest advertisers, including Commonwealth Bank, Telstra and Toyota. In May 2007, Tim moved his family to New Zealand and took up his current role as Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington. Along the way he has won a modest collection of dodgy-looking doorstops, including gold at Cannes and One Show.
