Liam Wielopolski, Executive Creative Director of Saatchi & Saatchi, Johannesburg, South Africa, started his career over 13 years ago in TV Production at Ogilvy. |
Moving quickly into a position in Art Direction, Liam has spent the last decade honing his skills at Ogilvy, The Jupiter Drawing Room (under Graham Warsop) and now Saatchi & Saatchi. Liam is widely respected as one of the top Art Director/Creative Directors in South Africa and has won multiple accolades from the world's leading advertising awards shows including Cannes, The One Show, Clios, World Press Awards, Andys, London International Advertising Awards, New York Festivals, and Loeries to name a few. Liam is a frequent judge at the Creative Circle of SA and was a judge at this years APEX Awards for advertising effectiveness. The work he did with partner Michael Blore for Nugget Shoe Polish in 2005 still stands as the most awarded campaign in the history of South African Advertising in any medium, ever.
