Jeff Fisher
Jeff Jeff , the Engineer of Creative Identity for the one-person design shop Jeff Fisher LogoMotives, has been designing logos, creating corporate identity systems and branding organizations, businesses and products for over 25 years. Clients have included one-person entrepreneurial companies, education facilities, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, professional sports teams and major international corporations.

Jeff Fisher has received nearly 500 regional, national and international graphic design awards for his logo and corporate identity efforts. Since 1998, Fisher has been recognized by the Summit Creative Awards with two Golds, four Silvers and nine Bronze awards. In addition, his work is featured in over 80 books on the design of logos, the business of graphic design, and small business marketing.

Fisher often writes for industry magazines and web sites, such as HOW Magazine and CreativeLatitude.com. His column "Logo Notions" on the site CreativeLatitude.com covers a variety of topics related to identity design and his bLog-oMotives has developed a large following. Features about Jeff Fisher and his business have appeared in HOW, other creative industry publications, newspapers, major magazines and webzines around the world. Fisher serves on the HOW Magazine Editorial Advisory Board, HOW Design Conference Advisory Council, as a member of the board of directors of Proscodi: Professional Society of Communication Design and on the international NO!SPEC (www.no-spec.com ) committee. His book "The Savvy Designer's Guide to Success: Ideas and tactics for a killer career," a somewhat irreverent look at the business of graphic design, was released by HOW Design Books in December 2004. His next book, "Identity Crisis!," will be published by HOW Design Books in 2007.

Fisher regularly speaks about his experiences in design, and the marketing of small businesses, to major design industry conferences, Chamber of Commerce groups, Small Business Development Center educators, related industry professional organizations, high school art careers classes and college design students. He has become a regular presence at the annual HOW Design Conference, making presentations three of the last four years.
