KC has a doctorate in psychology from New York University. She is currently an assistant professor at Idaho State University. Her main areas of expertise are implicit social cognition and self-regulation. Her research focuses on how subtle exposure to stimuli and to the behavior of others affects goal pursuit in individuals. |
Her research has been published in scholarly journals and presented at numerous conferences. One of her recent papers on gender differences in the reception to HIV-intervention materials has received much attention in the medical press. |
