Summit Awards On-line Entry System & Store

To use the Summit On-line Entry System & Store, simply click on the icon above. The on-line system is a convenient way for companies to enter their contest submissions and for winners to order customized presentation items like trophies and certificates.

Ordering Winner's Merchandise To order custom presentation items such as statuettes, desk plaques, trophies or certificates, select the trophy icon. From there you will be able to select the item and customize its inscription. If you are currently logged in to the SIA site, log out before you begin shopping. Some browser configurations will empty your cart when you go to check out and its a hassle to do it twice.

How To Enter an SIA Award On-line:

Entering on-line is a two-step process: registration and submission of work samples. To register, browse for categories, register and pay. Then, depending on whether you are mailing or uploading your work samples, you proceed to the Upload module.

Before you begin, make sure you are logged-out of the SIA site. If you are already logged in, log out now. Some browser configurations empty your cart when you try to check out and it can be a lot of work to re-enter your submissions.

1. BROWSE CATEGORIES- Browse the contest icons to find the competition in season, browse the category icons, select category(ies) in which you choose to enter your work.
2. FILL-IN FIELDS- Fill-in the fields and add to the cart. There is no limit to the number of projects you submit.
   
3. CHECK OUT - When finished "shopping" for categories, select check out. Choose a user name, password and provide your contact information. It will then direct you to a a secure payment area where you can finalize your order. A confirmation email is sent as soon as you finish checking out. If it doesn't show up, check your spam folder. Please note: Your cart will empty if inactive for 30 minutes. If you choose, you can enter a competition multiple times by shopping for categories, checking out and returning another day.
4. UPLOAD SUBMISSIONS - After check out, you will automatically be directed to the thank you page that provides links to either upload your submissions or entry tags for mailed submission. Uploads must be under 10 megs each.

Delivery of Materials: After you check out, you have a choice of three delivery options: upload, mail or both (Summit EMA - upload only).

1. Upload - After you register on-line you will automatically be forwarded to the Upload module where you will browse your computer for the files (work samples) to be submitted. Upload the files one at a time and continue doing so until you have sent all of the items you registered. After each upload, you receive a "successful" message. If you are unable to upload all of your submissions at one sitting you can return later to finish. Just log back in at the top the site. Once you login, choose Upload Entries from the user menu on the left.

Helpful hints: Name the uploaded files the same as the Entry. This helps our administrator. Accepted files formats: txt, tar, zip, png, gif, jpg, pdf, doc, rtf, wav, mp3, aif, wmv, wma, mov, swf, mp4, tif, sit. File size limit: 10 megs. If larger, please mail. Reminder. If too much time goes by with inactivity, the system will time out and your cart will empty. This is to prevent bandwidth demands during the peak season. You will need to start again.

2. Mail - Use Entry Tags to label each of your entries that is being mailed and mail them along with a copy of your emailed receipt to:

3. Both Upload and Mail Delivery - It may be necessary to upload some entries like ads and radio spots and to mail others like video and product packaging. To do so, simple select the categories in which you choose to enter specifying the delivery method. After checking out, upload certain items and mail the remainder.
